You know those days when you feel on top of the world and just so genuinely happy, well this was one of those days!
Never would I have thought that I could meet the people that inspire me on a daily basis with their videos and their passion for what they do. For some it may sound silly to think that make-up and fashion videos and the people behind them can actually make you feel good about yourself, but the truth is, they do!
I know that I could spend hours laughing at YouTube challenge videos or watching 'how to' videos just so that I could develop my skills further. YouTube is not only a social platform but also a way of reaching out to those who simply make you happy!
BeautyCon London was as epic as it could get for me! Being able to meet the incredibly humble and beautiful Tess Christine and Carli Bybel was honestly a DREAM COME TRUE! I can't stop thinking about it and I'm just so grateful that I got the opportunity.
The whole day was made up of panels filled with your favourite YouTubers talking about #GirlProbs and even how to set up your own channel, they spoke about everything you would ever need to know! If you were unable to attend this year it seems that, judging by this years BeautyCon London, next year will be just as amazing!!
XOXO
P.S. Just a little side note, make sure to wear comfortable shoes!

Hey, hey, hey!!!
How are you? I am back with another #Friday Favourites and after a jam-packed week I am excited to tell you about all of the things that I have been loving this week, so here goes...
*Also don't be afraid to tell me everything that you are loving, no matter how random it is - I'd love to hear from you on my blog, Instagram (@NotVicarious) and Twitter (@Not_Vicarious)! *
XOXO
FASHION
I recently bought these gorgeous black shoes from John Lewis for my graduation and absolutely adore them! The crossover straps add a touch of elegance and not to mention the fact that the colour black will always make these shoes an option when going out! ;D
BEAUTY
After using my Benefit Bo-ing concealer for quite a while, I felt that it was time to find a new one that was just that little bit better and let me tell you…this Maybelline Fit Me concealer is so good! It’s smooth, easy to apply and works great when you use a beauty blender, plus it’s not too thick so you will definitely not feel cakey. The Maybelline Fit Me setting powder is also a pretty handy product and it matches perfectly with the concealer, it’s a win-win situation!
INSPIRATION
This past week I have been feeling a little overwhelmed and
it’s not just to do with all the work that I have gotten but also because of
the general atmosphere. I have often felt that there are certain people in your
life, friends or not, that have this feeling of wanting to see you fail. This feeling
may be intentional or may simply be a way of boosting their self-esteem, as if
to see you fail will make them automatically think that they have succeeded in
something before you have! I decided that enough is enough, why should I be
made to feel that I am not good enough, so I give you this quote: “Do it for
the people who want to see you fail!” because after all you know that you are
strong enough, so why not show them?
MEDIA
One of the funniest people on YouTube! Hunter March is not
only a crazy, funny guy to watch but is also pretty sweet when he’s with his
girlfriend (cue the “awwww”). He has his own channel and can also be found on
the awesome YouTube channel ‘AwesomenessTV’ – see what I did there…! Go ahead
and click the Subscribe button on his channel and reply back to me with your
thoughts!
RANDOM! ;D
A chance to see some adorable pets I hear
you say…well I wouldn’t say no that’s for sure!!
I had a fantastic time at the London Pet
Show over the weekend and I think it’s safe to say that I am in love with dogs!
Cats are cute and I have always been a cat person but there was something about
those cute puppies that made my heart melt – I could have taken them all home
with me! <3
For those of you who are interested in
reptiles, there were plenty of opportunities to see tarantulas (*shivers*),
snails (I’m not going to lie, the size of them kind of freaked me out) and even
snakes (I got to stroke one, I was proud of myself!)
